MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 142

AUTHORIZING ALL MECHANICAL ENGINEERS FROM GOVERNMENT AGENCIES, LOCAL GOVERNMENT UNITS, STATE COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES AND GOVERNMENT OWNED AND CONTROLLED CORPORATIONS TO ATTEND THE 55TH PHILIPPINE SOCIETY OF MECHANICAL ENGINEERS (PSME) ANNUAL NATIONAL CONVENTION ON OCTOBER 15-18, 2007 ON OFFICIAL BUSINESS.

 The Philippine Society of Mechanical Engineers will hold its 55th Annual National Convention and 4th International Expo on Mechanical Engineering on October 15-18, 2007 at the Megatrade Hall, SM Megamall, Mandaluyong;

In this connection, Mechanical Engineers in various government agencies and local government units, state colleges and universities and government owned and controlled corporations, are hereby authorized to attend the above-mentioned Convention on official time only, at no cost to the government except payment of their salaries, provided such attendance will not adversely affect the functions of their respective offices as well as the delivery of services to the public.
