The Event

The Philippine Society of Mechanical Engineers (PSME), the only accredited organization in the country for mechanical engineers, is again staging its annual national convention not only to update its members on the latest happenings in the engineering discipline, profession and business, but also to unite and forge ties and bonds with the rest of the mechanical engineering world. the event is on November 4-7, 2008 at the SMX Hall 1 Convention Center, SM Mall of Asia, Pasay City, Philippines.

One of the tenets of the mechanical engineering profession is to ensure that the work done is safe, sound and efficient. And as humanity copes with the challenges of saving the environment, the mission of all mechanical engineers goes a notch higher. Thus, this year's theme: "Responding to Global Mechanical Safety, efficiency and Environmental Protection" becomes more timely and relevant.
